Square-Enix introduces Xbox 360 players to the massive world of Vana’diel in the online RPG FINAL FANTASY XI, the first multiplayer game based on the popular series. The game gives players everything a good MMORPG does but with that special FINAL FANTASY touch, making it a dream come true for FINAL FANTASY fans. The game uses the familiar job system that appears in previous games, and players are free to switch from warrior to white mage to monk to thief as much as the want, provided they don’t mind starting each job class at level one. Player’s race, however, is set once they select one. There are five different races: humans, elvaan (who are like elves), tarutaru, mithra (the ever-popular cat girls), and the ogre-like galka. Each specializes in a different category and gains more points in that category each time they level up. Each race also has access to every job class. Players also get to select which of the three kingdoms will be their home. This selection determines which events players can do, as some events are associated with only one kingdom. In addition to completing these missions, players will spend plenty of time battling monsters. As an MMORPG, FINAL FANTASY XI is complex and includes many more abilities than those listed here.
